Install Finocket as a real app

Add Finocket to your Home Screen on iPhone or Android so it launches like any other app — works offline, opens instantly.

Finocket is a Progressive Web App — meaning your phone treats it like any other native app once installed. It works offline, opens instantly, and takes up almost no storage.

On Android (Chrome)

Open Finocket in Chrome and sign in.
You'll see an "Install Finocket on your home screen" card on the dashboard the first time. Tap Install.
Alternatively, tap the ⋮ menu → Install app, or tap the install icon in Chrome's address bar.
Finocket adds itself to your home screen. Long-press its icon and you'll get quick shortcuts to New payment, New expense, New invoice and Chat with Finocket.

On iPhone (Safari)

Safari doesn't support the beforeinstallprompt API that Android uses, so we can't show a one-tap Install button. But the install flow is still simple:

Open Finocket in Safari (not Chrome — Safari is required on iOS).
Tap the Share button (the square with an arrow, in the bottom toolbar).
Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen.
Confirm the name and tap Add. Finocket appears on your home screen as an app icon.

Finocket nudges iPhone users with an install hint the first time. Dismiss it once and it won't nag on future visits.

On desktop (Chrome / Edge)

Look for the install icon in the address bar — it looks like a small monitor with a down arrow. Click it and Finocket launches as a standalone window without browser chrome. Great for a dedicated books tab.

Why install?

Works offline. Recent screens and data load from your device even on the train / in the lift / in a low-signal area. When you're back online, Finocket syncs everything you changed.
Opens instantly. No browser tab loading — the app launches from its cached bundle.
Home-screen shortcuts to the most common actions on Android.
Match your theme. The status bar picks up your chosen theme (light, dark, midnight, sunset, forest) automatically.

Uninstall

Long-press the Finocket icon on your home screen → Uninstall (Android) or Remove (iOS / desktop). Your data stays safe on the Finocket servers — you can sign in again from any browser to pick up where you left off.
